Patrick began his diving experience back in 1977 in his home town of Dana Point, CA. He spent almost 30 years diving Southern California sites from La Jolla to the Channel Islands . His dive travels have taken him to such places as Cozumel, Mexico, the Caribbean, French Polynesia, and finally to Hawaii. An avid explorer, Patrick looks for any opportunity to get underwater and look for new dive sites. His main motivations for teaching: “Scuba diving was such a life-changing experience for me and continues to be a great adventure. I want to help bring that same experience to others”.
Patrick’s favorite dive sites on Oahu: The entire North Shore, The LCU “Saipan” wreck and China Wall, YO-257 & San Pedro wrecks off of Waikiki , Manu Arch and the M/V Mahi wreck off of the Waianae coast. Where he would like to dive next: Chuuk (aka Truk Lagoon), Micronesia.

Bob became certified in 1987 in his home town in the fresh waters of New York. He started diving to fulfill a college course requirement and continued his training into leadership roles. His diving experience has taken him to places such as New York, Okinawa Japan, Guam, Thailand, Philippines and Hawaii. One of his goals is to dive the Galapagos Islands.
Bob came to Hawaii in 2009 with the military and started his professional diving career with Pearl Harbor Divers as a NAUI Instructor in 2010. A Lieutenant Colonel in the Army, Bob has also served as a Special Forces Underwater Operations Combat Diver and Special Forces Underwater Operations Combat Diver Dive Supervisor.
Bob is dedicated to helping divers embrace marine conservation, and teaching them to dive responsibly. His next career goal in scuba diving is to become a NAUI Instructor Trainer.
NAUI Dive Master
Kimbria Andreassen comes to Hawaii after living in California most of her life. During her high school years, she was a member of a swim team where she honed her swimming and stamina in the water. Kimbria lived in Ecuador for a couple of years, where she became fluent in Spanish, taught English, and led eco-tourists into the jungles and rivers of the Amazon Basin. While there, she had the opportunity to explore the Galapagos Islands, snorkeling and free-diving in the pristine waters where wildlife is protected and plentiful. She has also studied and traveled in the jungles of Costa Rica, Jamaica, and Mexico.
When she moved back to the United States in 2008 , Kimbria became certified as a Commercial Diver, EMT and dive medic. While most of her classmates were heading for work in the Gulf of Mexico, working on oil rigs, she was elated at the prospect of coming to Hawaii.
Kimbria is looking forward to returning to the Galapagos Islands for more serious underwater exploration (of the the SCUBA kind) as well as places like Palau and others in the south Pacific.
